VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows.
Ken Borromeo: (Interview date: Februrary 21, 2011)
He agreed with the 21 age limit in order for the patient to grant consent of euthanasia and that euthanasia is only acceptable with solely the patient's consent. The health of the patient and his/her potential to survive should be considered before performing euthanasia. A time limit should be enforced before performing euthanasia in order to confirm that the patient has no chance of surviving.
Christine Borromeo: (Interview date: Februrary 21, 2011)
Euthanasia is only acceptable with the patient's consent, and it cannot be performed without the patient's consent. Therefore, the consent of family members or any other individual without the consent of the patient should not be credible.

He was concerned with the age of the patient and only found euthanasia acceptable if the patient displayed no chance of surviving due to their poor health.
Christine Borromeo: (Interview date: Februrary 21, 2011)
If a patient is only interested in pursuing euthanasia because they are no longer willing to live but still have the ability to live, then it is not acceptable to perform euthanasia. Patients should not undergo euthanasia if their health is still in good condition and have the potential to be cured.
